Liz Jackson is the Founding Member of The Disabled List, a disability-led critical design collective that advocates for structural changes to what design is, how it operates, and what problems it seeks to solve. She is the curator at Critical Axis, a long term research project that collects and analyzes disability representation in media.
Liz's practice analyzes power differentials that lead to gatekeeping and corruption amongst corporate disability inclusion advocates. She is currently focused on brand partnerships with large scale disability charities and how they serve to undermine and neutralize the work of disabled employees and independent activists.
