Four, inspiring Rare talents will take to the stage, as part of a panel at the D&AD Festival festival – all from different backgrounds, all with inspiring work to share, all set to prove how unique perspective and experience can lead to fresh and innovative ideas.
Claudia Cristovao is Head of Brand Studio APAC since she joined Google exactly a year ago. She studied Communication, Film and Fine Art between Lisbon, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London. She is an honours graduate at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and holds an MA from Saint Martins in London.
Claudia has worked as a writer, brand developer and creative director for Nike, Google, Honda, Adidas, MINI, AMEX and many others, from agencies like W+K, Sid Lee and AKQA. Her projects have included music videos, art installations, digital experiences, social media campaigns or business transformations.
Claudia has been a speaker at the Freer & Sackler Museum, De Appel, AdTech Tokyo and Spikes Asia, amongst other venues. She has been a guest juror and/or speaker for the New York Festivals, Cannes, AdFest, Spikes, W20 and WIRED Hack Awards. Her artworks, which link storytelling and interactivity, have been exhibited across the world, namely at the São Paulo Biennial, the Dakar Biennial, the Guangzhou Biennial, De Appel in Amsterdam and MOCA in San Francisco.
Jade is a Creative Adventurer who's since graduating from St. Martins in 2008 worked for advertising giant Bartle Bogle Hegarty to Cx boutique Hugo & Cat. With 10 years of diverse creative industry experience across a range of lifestyle brands from Sony, Starbucks, Levi’s, Ford Mustang to Burberry. She found her home last year where she could build a hybrid of ideas, story-telling and creative innovation at Total Experience Agency Tribal Worldwide London, DDB where she joined the leadership team as Creative Director.
She has maintained her belief in the value of creativity through the Information & Connected Age. In 2015 her passion and curiosity led to her side hustle CreativeAdventur.es where she runs a Journal & Workshop series for modern founders and young go-getters.
Jade was Campaign’s Faces to Watch in 2009, selected for Cannes Lion ‘See It Be It’ programme 2016 and named Creative Equals & Campaign’s ‘30 Future Female Leaders’ in 2017 and one of Campaign's ‘Trailblazers of the Future’ at the end of 2018. She is also a proud Judge and mentor in the industry from D&AD New Blood, Academy & Shift Programme to Creative Mentor Network, The Dots Masterclasses to SheSays Who’sYourMomma mentor.
Eloise King is an award-winning Director/Executive Producer telling powerful stories that foreground marginalised voices in mainstream culture. She’s crossed all major terrestrial platforms including BBC, Channel 4, ITV, MTV, A&E and Al Jazeera English. She has made films for clients such as Nike, i-D and Louis Vuitton and exhibited in ICA, Tate Britain and MoAD.
Most recently, King was Global Executive Producer of VICE, overseeing all digital channels in the UK, and i-D globally. King also founded Women on Docs a screening and events network in London and LA celebrating women in non-fiction film.
Keziah is a photographer and filmmaker with a passion for empowering people through visibility and sharing honest stories. She started exploring these themes around 2010 within her earlier photo projects, centric around skin conditions, creating The Epidermavision project - a series of images that educates the audience and celebrates the participants. Recently she’s been working at i-D / Vice as a Shooting Producer, predominately shooting and assisting in creative storytelling that was human and relatable.
This year she’s also, directed a short series of humanising stories for Skoda, shot the cover feature story for Stylist magazine in collaboration with Gurls Talk, currently is in the pre-production stages of her first short film, centric around differently abled people and expression.
Kevin is an advertising creative, film director, and influencer’s influencer. He’s worked as a creative for global brands such as Vodafone, and Adidas and delivered Audi’s most successful social media campaign of 2018. Other brands he’s created campaigns for including Huawei, Prince's Trust, Lush, Samsung, Women's Equality Party, Converse, Pancreatic Cancer Action, Maytree Suicide Sanctuary. He’s also the co-founder of POCC ( People of culture collective ) and Qmmunity Podcast, as well as a diversity consultant to various people, initiatives and organisations across the creative industries.
